The Museum is located on Palacký Square. It has a long history, it was founded 1892. You can find here rich ethnographic collections, handicraft production, history of social life of the 19th century, church monuments, archaelogical findings.
The City Museum also manages the birthplace of the important Czech poet Otokar Březina and the observation tower.
